AstroMVP Mega Bundle: is it worth $299?
Writing an honest review of your own product is a weird exercise. I'm obviously biased. But I also know exactly what's in the box, who it's for, and who should save their money. So here goes.
The MVP Mega Bundle is $299. It includes every AstroMVP skill we currently sell, every future skill we release, a custom skill request, and a 1-on-1 onboarding call with me. Let me break down whether that math actually makes sense.
What you get right now
The bundle includes all 9 skills currently in the store:
- SaaS Builder ($29) - Full stack SaaS patterns. Auth, billing, dashboards, API design. This is the one that powered adworthy.ai.
- iOS Mobile Builder ($29) - SwiftUI apps with backend integration.
- Taste & Design ($29) - UI/UX patterns that stop your AI agent from building ugly apps.
- Humanizer ($29) - Copy that reads like a person wrote it. No more "it's important to note" garbage.
- shadcn Dashboard ($29) - Admin panels with proper data tables, charts, and component architecture.
- Guerrilla Marketing ($29) - Growth tactics for $0 budgets. Viral loops, referral mechanics, scrappy distribution.
- SEO Optimizer ($29) - Technical SEO, structured data, meta tags, sitemaps.
- Landing Page Builder ($29) - High-converting page patterns with proper CTA and social proof placement.
- Plus one more skill ($29) - We add new skills regularly.
If you bought each of those individually, you'd spend $261. So on the current skills alone, the bundle costs $38 more than buying them separately.
Not a compelling deal if you stop there. But you shouldn't stop there.
The future skills are where the value compounds
We're releasing a new skill every week. That's not aspirational. The release schedule is already planned for the next 3 months. Skills for Chrome extensions, React Native apps, email marketing automation, Stripe integration patterns, and more.
Over the next 12 months, that's potentially 50+ new skills. At $29 each, buying them individually would cost $1,450 or more. Bundle owners get every single one at no additional cost.
This is the real value proposition. If you're the kind of person who builds multiple projects (or who plans to), the bundle pays for itself on skill number 11. Everything after that is free.
The custom skill request
This is the part people undervalue until they use it. You get to request one custom skill built for your specific use case.
Say you're building a marketplace app with a very specific matching algorithm. Or a healthcare product with compliance requirements. Or an education platform with a particular assessment structure. None of our standard skills cover that exact pattern. But a custom skill would.
You describe what you need. I write a skill file tailored to your project, your stack, and your requirements. If you hired a consultant to write architecture patterns for your specific product, you'd pay more than $299 for that alone.
Three bundle customers have used their custom skill request so far. One needed a skill for building Chrome extensions with AI features. One needed a multi-tenant SaaS pattern. One needed a specific workflow automation setup. All three said the custom skill alone justified the bundle price.
The onboarding call
You get a 30-minute 1-on-1 call with me. I'll look at what you're building, recommend which skills to use, and walk you through the workflow. This isn't a sales call. I've done about 40 of these and they're genuinely useful for figuring out the fastest path from "idea in my head" to "live product."
If you already know what you're doing and just want the skill files, you can skip the call. It's there if you want it.
Who should buy the bundle
The bundle makes sense if you fit one of these:
Serial builders. If you launch 2 or more products per year, the math is obvious. You'll use multiple skills per project and the future skills add up fast.
Agency owners or freelancers. If you build products for clients, each skill can be reused across every client project. The per-project cost drops to almost nothing after 3 or 4 builds.
Founders who don't know what they're building yet. Sounds counterintuitive, but if you know you want to build something and you're not sure what, the bundle gives you every pattern you might need. Start with the SaaS Builder, pivot to the Mobile Builder, use the Landing Page Builder for validation. Flexibility has value.
Who should NOT buy the bundle
One-time builders with a clear scope. If you're building exactly one SaaS product and you know you only need the SaaS Builder and maybe the Landing Page Builder, buy those two skills for $58 total. You don't need to spend $299.
People who haven't tried a single skill yet. Buy one skill first. See how it fits your workflow. If you love it, come back for the bundle. The worst outcome is someone spending $299 and realizing skill-based development isn't their style.
People who expect magic. Skills make your AI agent dramatically better. They don't replace the work of describing what you want to build and iterating on the output. If you're looking for a button that generates a finished product, this isn't that.
My honest take
I obviously want you to buy the bundle. It's my product and it's my revenue. But I'd rather have a customer who buys one $29 skill, ships something with it, and comes back for the bundle later than someone who drops $299 and never opens the files.
The bundle is worth $299 if you're going to use it. The current skills alone are worth close to that. The future skills make it a no-brainer over time. And the custom skill request is legitimately valuable if you have a specific need.
If you're on the fence, start with one skill. The SaaS Builder is the most popular for a reason. Try it on a project. If it changes how you build, come get the bundle.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the AstroMVP Mega Bundle?
All 9 current skills (SaaS Builder, iOS Mobile Builder, Taste & Design, Humanizer, shadcn Dashboard, Guerrilla Marketing, SEO Optimizer, Landing Page Builder, and more), every future skill we release, a custom skill request, and a 1-on-1 onboarding call with me.
Is the Mega Bundle worth it if I only need one skill?
Probably not. If you're building one specific thing and only need one skill, buy that skill for $29. The bundle makes financial sense when you need 3 or more skills, or when you plan to build multiple projects over time and want access to every future skill we release.
Do I get lifetime access to future AstroMVP skills?
Yes. The Mega Bundle includes every skill released after your purchase, forever. We're releasing new skills weekly. Over a year that could be 50+ additional skills at no extra cost.
What is the custom skill request?
You describe what you need, and I write a skill file tailored to your project, stack, and requirements. This is built specifically for your use case. Three customers have used it so far and all three said it was the most valuable part of the bundle.
